Sowed out the first Peas of the year
It rained heavily yesterday and the ground was still quite damp, but having looked at the weather forecast, I thought I'll chance it. Here are a few pictures.
Douce Provence - First Early
Sow between Jan - Mar
The location being prepared
Sowing complete. But, just as an experiment, I used a dibber to make a hole and pop in seed on the left and centre row and scatter the peas on the surface and gently cover in the right hand row. Lets see which ones germinate (it all) first.

Sowing Chilli and Sweet Peppers
I've started off my chilli and sweet pepper plants this year. Last year I started them around February, and they didn't start producing peppers and chillies till quite late in the growing season - somewhere around September. This year I wanted to start around Christmas time, just to give them some extra time, but I have only got around to doing it on the 5th January 2016.
